Double Girder Gantry cranes are usually assembled with electric hoists or winches or trolleys. As common lifting equipment, they are divided into three types: light,medium and heavy cranes. The lifting weight is 1 to 1000 tons, and the span is 12 to 45 meters.

Structure of Double Girder Gantry Crane：
1.Main Girder System
Two box-type girders providing high strength and stability for heavy-duty lifting.
2.Gantry Legs (A-frame / U-frame)
Support the main girders and transfer loads to the ground rails.
3.Hoisting Trolley
Includes electric hoist or winch, wire rope, hook, and trolley frame, traveling along the girders for precise lifting.
4.Travel Mechanism
End carriages, wheels, motors, and reducers enabling crane movement along ground rails.
5.Rail & Foundation System
Ground rails, rail clamps, and foundation ensure smooth and stable crane travel.
6.Power Supply System
Festoon cables or conductor bars supplying power to crane and trolley motions.
7.Control System
Pendant control, cabin control, or remote control for safe and efficient operation.
8.Safety Devices
Overload protection, limit switches, buffers, wind alarms, and rail clamps for reliable operation.
