Structure of Explosion Proof Overhead Crane:
Core Structural Feature: Every component in the hazardous area is designed to prevent ignition sources and contain potential explosions, ensuring safety throughout the material handling process.
1.Heavy-Duty Main Girder Structure
Constructed from high-quality steel plates welded into box-type or truss girders. Stress-relieved through annealing to ensure high rigidity and fatigue resistance. Coated with special anti-corrosion and anti-static paint for corrosive environments.
2.Explosion-Proof Traveling Mechanism
Equipped with explosion-proof drive motors and brakes on both end trucks. Drive wheels often feature double flanges for smooth, derailment-resistant travel. The rigid trolley frame carries explosion-proof travel motors for precise longitudinal movement.
3.Core Explosion-Proof Hoisting Unit
The most critical safety component. Includes an explosion-proof hoist motor, reducer, brake, and wire rope drum all rated for hazardous areas. All are enclosed in flameproof housings that isolate internal sparks or high temperatures.
4.Dedicated Explosion-Proof Electrical System
All control systems for hoisting and travel are integrated into certified explosion-proof enclosures (min. IP65). Operator interfaces (remote control, pendant, cabin) are intrinsically safe or flameproof. Equipped with explosion-proof safety limit switches, overload limiters, and anti-collision systems.
5.Secure Connectivity & Runway System
